It’s that time of year again and we’re getting ready to head out on the road. We’re very excited about the gigs that lie ahead from Wick to Dunfermline! We’re looking forward to visiting some new venues as well as returning to some old favourites. The tour kicks off next week at the Ceilidh Place in Ullapool before finishing up at Montrose Folk Club at the end of August.
We’re particularly looking forward to making a return appearance at the Carnegie Hall – Portmahomack Carnegie Hall, that is – for their Summer Gala. Fingers crossed they’re still serving kippers for breakfast! We had a fantastic time there last year when we supported the Alistair McCulloch Trio and this year looks set to be just as good.
Another highlight for us this summer will be our performances at Glasgow’s Piping Live Festival. This will be our third year playing at the festival and we’ll be appearing both in St Enoch Square and the National Piping Centre before the boys head off to compete at the World Pipe Band Championships.
For more information about where we’re playing this summer check out the ‘Shows’ section of the website. In the meantime, it’s time to hit the road. We’ll hopefully see you somewhere along the way!
